Most of us don't give tangential emulation a second thought, but it's the first thing we need to look for when purchasing a cutter. Simply put, tangential emulation allows drag-knife cutters to emulate, or fake, the sharp tangent created by a knife that is lifted clear of the stencil and rotated to form a 90-degree angle.

Design Mart was featured in the Summer 2012 issue of the Elberton Granite Association's Graniteer magazine. While thousands of monument retailers count on Design Mart for brochures, catalogs and online services for design concepts, we don't always get to see the finished monuments. Thanks go out to Ron Bartholomew of Wake Monument Company for sending in a photo of a finished D92 from our Memories Etched In Stone brochure and book.
