If you etch your own designs or have them etched for you this news is for you! For two years our Online Monument Designer has allowed users to export vector designs that can be opened in CAD systems for sandblast, without having to track down components or creating drawings that aren't what the customer had in mind. Now we've added the capability of exporting high resolution etching files for laser and impact etchers.
All of the etchings being uploaded to the Online Monument Designer have transparent backgrounds, which means that users may pull apart and customize etching scenes, like the one shown below.
We are constantly upgrading the Online Monument Designer to provide users with more features while also making it more user friendly, and since it is web-based anyone who is able to negotiate web sites and browse the web can operate our Online Designer.
Our all new version 2.0 of the Online Catalog & Monument Designer was released at the recent MBNA show in Indianapolis. There are lots of new features including a new administrative back end that is easy to navigate as well as dockers that can be moved around the screen by simply clicking and dragging as shown below.
The Monument Builders of North America held February 10-12 in Indianapolis had a great turnout. We got to do lots of demonstrations of the new version 2.0 of our Online Monument Designer and Catalog. We met lots of old friends we've done business with for two generations, and we made lots of new friends along the way. Our next show will be ICCFA in April, and we hope to see you there.
